2200 is an exploration of future living. It serves to push the boundaries of performance garment production through means of new construction methods and innovative selling experiences. New, modern and next drives the consumer to purchase futuristic products that are designed exclusively for them.
This research project is an exploration of future living. It is an androgynous women’s-wear capsule collection that explores conceptual garments for 2200. Heavily driven by trend analysis, there is a large focus on performance outerwear and style influences from the cyber punk movement. Due to the ever-changing social and political implications of sustainability, the need to protect one’s self will become even more important to the consumer in 2200.
