Recently graduated in Fashion Design and Marketing from Northumbria University. I have a particular interest in print and garment design, garment technology, trend forecasting, fashion illustration and ethical practises.
The aim of my FMP was to create a fully functioning outdoor brand for women. Concept-led performance clothing that will focus on technical fabrics and techniques but challenges the classic outdoor sports silhouette. This brand will be cross purpose, intended to extend the use of the clothing across multiple activities. It is for the 18-34, fashion conscious female consumer. Print design will be used to add interest and uniqueness to the collection inspired by Japanese textiles and following the rules for design by Dieter Rams. Trips to Norway and Copenhagen influence silhouette and style.
